Hala has a proven track record in project finance having worked for 27 years at the Export-Import Bank of United States. During her tenure with US EXIM Bank she closed  28 project finance transactions totaling over USD 16 billion in exposure and USD 90 billion in cost.  These includes the Sadara Chemical Company Project in KSA for USD 5 Billion and EBIC Ammonia Project ( Previously Carbon Holdings) , she also helped closing Australia –Pacific Liquified Natural Gas LNG Project, Papua new Guinea LNG Project, the Emirates Aluminum Project , the Baku-Tiblisi –Ceyhan Oil Pipeline Project, Oman LNG Project, the three Enka BO Power Projects in Turkey in addition to several projects in Mexico.
