Wael is a seasoned Corporate Banker with over 23 years of Experience Corporate Credit, Project Finance Syndication management & Business Banking at key financial institutions in the Middle East Region.
- Wael currently leads the Coverage at the Saudi market for First Abu Dhabi Group where he assumed various executive roles across the region. Wael used to manage a substantial portfolio of regional corporate players, and offshore lending to top tier corporates based in GCC. Wael moved between Qatar, UAE & KSA within the group in addition to his responsibilities of non presence countries. Before that Wael used work as Manager Corporate Banking at Arab Bank Group in the Saudi Market with a portfolio that extends across both the Western and central region.
- Prior to that Wael assumed the role of Corporate Credit Manager at HSBC Group covering the UAE market.
- Wael Started his Career at HSBC Group in the Corporate Banking Division. He used to manage a diversified portfolio at the Egyptian Market and later moved to Barclays Bank Egypt as Corporate Credit Manager
